On August 19, the China Construction Industry Association officially announced the list of the "2025 Engineering Construction Quality Management Group Achievement Competition" and commended the outstanding QC achievements. This year, a total of 133 quality management group achievements from 16 subsidiaries of China MCC have won awards, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.3% compared with the previous year and a 0.2 percentage point rise in the award-winning proportion. Among them, there are 15 first prizes, 83 second prizes and 35 third prizes, with the total number of first and second prizes increasing by 10.1% on year-on-year basis. Improvements have been made in the level, quantity and coverage of awards, which has injected strong impetus into the company's high-quality development through practical actions.
The Quality Management Group (abbreviated as "QC Group") is a team voluntarily formed by on-site staff to focus on the company's strategic goals and on-site issues, improve quality, reduce consumption, enhance capabilities, and increase efficiency by applying quality management theories and methods. For a long time, China MCC has implemented the national strategy of pursuing quality excellence, promoted the Quality Section of the Project Management Manual, and advanced the in-depth development of QC Group activities across all industries and fields within the company. By guiding the scientific application of advanced quality management methods, China MCC has stimulated the enthusiasm of staff to participate in quality improvement and innovation activities, nurtured and created outstanding achievements covering multiple industries such as metallurgy, construction, and municipal engineering, and promoted the improvement of project quality management level, providing solid support for realizing the "One Innovation, Two Tops, Five Strengths" goal.
Hosted by the China Construction Industry Association and undertaken by the Quality Management, Supervision and Testing Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, this Engineering Construction Quality Management Group Achievement Competition was themed on "Standard Leadership, Collaborative Innovation, and Comprehensive Empowerment", with exchange meetings successively held in Hohhot, Shijiazhuang, Changzhou, and Xiamen, and a total of 832 QC groups from 31 regions and 21 industries presenting their achievements at the meetings, and approximately 2,900 representatives from the construction industry attending.
