On July 5, Bai Xiaohu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, led a team to check the G30 Lianyungang–Khorgos Expressway Lanzhou-Qingzhong Section Project undertaken by China MCC17 Group, and conducted on-site investigations.
Bai Xiaohu went to the construction site, gained a detailed understanding of the project's work safety and contract performance, and put forward specific requirements for the next work in light of the key nodes of the upcoming opening to traffic and operation based on China MCC17 Group's production and operation status: First, we should deeply understand the significance of project management. Projects are the foundation of an enterprise's development and the source of profits, specifically embodying an enterprise's core functions and core competitiveness. We should effectively give play to the role of "small front-end and large back-end" to provide effective support for project implementation. Second, we should firmly establish the concept of lean construction for quality performance. Guided by the Project Management Manual, we should earnestly implement high-standard planning and high-quality implementation, and promote the "On-site Circular Market" through quality performance. Third, we should establish a strong concept of operation and accounting. With the project's responsibility cost as the starting point, we should comprehensively improve the project's profitability. Fourth, we should build a learning-oriented management team. We should start from studying a contract, analyzing a list, understanding a set of drawings, and solving a problem to improve the professional level and business capabilities of the project team, enabling the team to grow better in practice. Fifth, we should firmly hold the bottom line of work safety. We should establish a firm concept of safe development, earnestly shoulder safety responsibilities of all staff, deepen the investigation and management of hidden dangers, and comprehensively improve the ability to prevent and pre-control safety risks. Meanwhile, we should strengthen the building of Party conduct and clean government, thoroughly implement the spirit of the Party's eight-point frugality code, and create a clean and upright atmosphere for work.
